Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. General Information

Abstracts should be submitted for consideration as oral presentations, poster presentations, or clinical case presentations within the scientific program of the conference.

All abstracts must be submitted through the official abstract submission page.

2. Abstract Categories

Authors may submit abstracts under one of the following categories:

• Childhood diabetes
• Growth disorders and short stature
• Thyroid disorders
• Adrenal gland disorders
• Pubertal disorders
• Disorders of sex development
• Vitamin D metabolism disorders and rickets
• Childhood obesity
• Rare pediatric endocrine disorders
• Artificial intelligence and digital technologies in pediatric endocrinology
• Clinical case presentations

3. Abstract Format

Each abstract should include the following sections:

Title
The title should be clear, concise, and reflect the content of the abstract.

Authors and Affiliations
Full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, city, and country should be provided. The presenting author should be clearly indicated.

Background / Introduction
Briefly describe the scientific or clinical background and the aim of the study or case presentation.

Methods
For research abstracts, describe the study design, participants, methods, and statistical analysis where applicable.

Results
Present the main findings clearly and concisely.

Conclusion
Summarize the main message, clinical relevance, or scientific contribution of the abstract.

For clinical case presentations, the following structure may be used:

Background
Case Presentation
Discussion
Conclusion

4. Word Limit

The abstract text should not exceed 250–300 words, excluding title, authors, affiliations, and references.

5. Language

Abstracts must be written in English or Turkish. The text should be clear, grammatically correct, and suitable for a scientific audience.

6. Submission Deadline

The deadline for abstract submission is:

October 12, 2026

Abstracts submitted after the deadline may not be considered for evaluation.

7. Review Process

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts will be evaluated based on scientific quality, originality, clinical relevance, clarity, and suitability for the conference program.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide whether an abstract will be accepted as an oral presentation, poster presentation, or clinical case presentation.

8. Notification of Acceptance

Authors will be informed about the acceptance status of their abstracts after the review process. The presenting author will receive further instructions regarding presentation format, timing, and technical requirements.

9. Presentation Requirements

The presenting author must be registered for the conference. Accepted abstracts should be presented by the designated presenting author during the assigned session.

10. Ethical Considerations

Studies involving human participants should comply with ethical standards and institutional requirements. Patient confidentiality must be protected in all clinical case presentations. Identifying patient information should not be included.
